My Spirit tells me that Dr. Thomas Chauke would have been a sell-out in case he has forgiven MEC, Thandi Moraka for what is alleged she did to him on that fateful night of Mapungabwe Art Festival. A joint statement between the Office of the Premier and Dr. Chauke suggest more than its paint.
You may search that statement and you will not find it. It may have been retracted. MLfm on its news announce that Dr. Chauke accepted the apology. Bullshit. Let me tell what would have happened naturally.
The Premier's Office used a person with legal background to draft media statement. No where in the statement, it suggests that Dr. Chauke accepted the apology. If they did so, they would have obligation to give us prove and can be liable for civil claim. The statement further commits the State to do better for Dr. Chauke but says nothing of what will happen.
Yes, the State will certainly please Dr. Chauke in this manner. He will get sufficient slots in all provincial major events and his rates will be as huge as his statue. That's all they know they will do.
The State went to meet Dr. Chauke at a local Chief's compound. Very unusual. There is bigger story behind that. I do not know how big did Dr. Thomas Chauke managed to construct his family house. The choice of the meeting place suggests that the State might have been avoiding embarrassments for not supporting their own people. Meaning, there might be insufficient water, toilets, look and feel of Dr. Thomas Chauke's statue.
That brings the logic that the State will please Dr. Chauke beyond their village political imaginations. Fair enough. We are all going to rally behind that idea but what should happen is:
1) Dr. Thomas Chauke statue must be erected in front of Dr. Thomas Chauke's Institute of Art at the University of Limpopo, UNISA or University of Limpopo. This is Makome Kingdom's support of Xahumbe Kingdom. No one will know this but it is worth mentioning. In one fateful day, Changa The Great submitted that Thomas Chauke must be honoured with Doctor of Philosophy in Arts. Few years later he became the honorary Dr. Thomas Chauke and Changa The Great was not invited but he was happy that it happened.
2) In his home village, the State must establish Museum of Dr. Thomas Chauke linked to Dr. Thomas Chauke Institute of Art. This is where young talent will be inspired and nurtured beyond tribal walls. Such will not only pull young talents but induce tourists to that village which needs such more than any other. Schools can have mandatory annual trips to the museum to observe the greatness in Dr. Thomas Chauke. This will be justice and all human race will live to cherish life that God provided. The local economy will be activated.
If the 2 above are not implemented and Dr. Thomas Chauke accept the apology without reservations, the Politicians and Munghana Lonene FM would have succeeded in killing the story but will not succeed in Killing Justice and Humanity. If my Spirit loves you all, One Human Race, One Kingdom, One God will emerge supreme.
Be Blessed.
