The CIC of Economic Freedom Fighters holds high moral standards

Happy elder praising the grace during EFF's Year End Function where old people were offered Christmas gifts.

The legacy Year End project of Economic Freedom Fighters which was graced by hundreds of elderly people.  The Commander In Chief of EFF, Julius Malema got another opportunity to engrave his high moral standards.  You might have missed it for any valid reason(s) however Makome Kingdom decided to pay attention to little words which most people will ignore.  According to Mr. Malema, the EFF Year End function is not designed to recruit elders to vote EFF.
Paraphrasing his words, the event is designed to teach young ones on how to treat elders at home.  He emphasised that the gifts that are given to elders are not meant to suggest that elders do not have food or warm blankets at home.  But the gesture seeks to educate all that all people deserve better life irrespective of who they are.

Giving and care are doctrine of Ubuntu or Humanity.  Elders who do not have sleeping beds at homes, were promised new beds.  Community members were encouraged to share their unused beds with those who don't have to improve someones life.  In addition to beds and blankets, Mr. Malema committed EFF to support grieving families who can not afford to bury their elders to knock at EFF door for support.  He appealed to people not to try to cheat the system while saving their funeral / burial covers as this offer is designed for those who are in dire need.

When Mr. Malema reaffirm commitment to build private school which will educate children from poor background, you need to extract morals in the context.  We all have moral obligations to support each other so that we can proper as the nation.  We are all disappointed that many of our "wealthy" black business men and women do not see a need to build well resourced private school.  Wealthy whites have build private schools and do support public schools.  The teaching that can be drawn from Mr. Malema's vision is that we can build schools to empower our own.  We can build schools to preserve our heritage.  We can empower our own to use our God's given natural resources to advance life.  Those who stand to benefit on the proposed private schools are most like help others when they are well off.  As must as we can not expect such from all beneficiaries, but we stand a chance that others will resonate with the vision and participate in the future.  From moral grounds, many wealthy business people will be guilty as charged and they will use the opportunity to redeem themselves.  Do expect more support of this proposal and within short space of time, companies and government will co-sponsor the vision.

It is not amusing to be reminded that there are adult males who will use their position in public offices to abuse young girls.  Instead of them appointing people based on their competency and qualifications, they use sex.  The country is now suffering from poor service delivery not because government can not afford to pay highly qualified people but mediocre are being stuffed in public offices.  Each one of us has the moral obligation to call an end to that practice of sex or bribe for jobs in public offices.  The public duty is supposed to be rendered by qualified and committed individuals who are prepared to serve our people with dignity and diligence.  Not their selfish end.

The society ended up accepting alien behaviours that are attacking the heart-core / fibre of Ubuntu / humanity.  Mr. Malema gave an example of an old woman who in the past requested blanket(s) while claiming that she didn't receive her gift.  Unfortunately, the old lady made such request from Mr. Malema himself twice and that's where the immoral behaviour were picked and us as a society, we live to allow such happening without understanding their implications going forward.  The teaching that you may miss if you are still holding on anger to a man who grew to become a guardian of high moral grounds, is that you are denying someone who is in need when you take gift that is not meant for you.   In order words, you are stealing.  At home, you will be teaching the young ones how to get more than what you are entitled to by stealing or pleading poverty.
No one uses family unity to advance high moral grounds in our society the way Mr. Malema does.  He brought in his beautify and lovely wife, children, in-laws and his immediate family members into the event.  When we are united family, we are able to support and protect each other.  Men who leave their wives behind on serious engagements exposes themselves to attacks.  The worse may be HIV/AIDS infections.  Wives too, can not be let loose in the public and temptations are every where.  Minimise such with living together.

Those who are prepared to listen will pay attention to his position on religion.  Those who want to see him going down for their vice agenda, they will allow "papa papa" replayed in their minds.  Mr. Malema encouraged people to go to church and pray for good.  Makome Kingdom is not surprised by this call.  Our view on how EFF will cooperate with churches like ZCC to govern is expressed in the past.  The moral in religion is that we always learn how to live together as humans and children of one God.  Encouraging people to go to church is more than politics.  Members of the society are encouraged to live closer to God's WILL.

The event proved yet again that the Organisation (EFF) pays attention to details.  Each elder had her / his Christmas gift packed in order.  Successes such as these will pay dividends in the next local government elections in 2021.  Although Mr. Malema avoided the temptation to make a call for elders to Vote EFF, his message will be received well and elders will find it in themselves that they have EFF going all out for them.  As such they will return favour by voting EFF.  Makome Kingdom, wishes all elders happy festive season and the grace of God be with them.
